Knowledge that can help turn Kids into Healthy Adults
Teaching children and teens to be healthy is a sure way to help lower the percentage of overweight and obese adults in the future. The younger years can pose many challenges to eating healthy that include feeling like you fit in with your peers, choosing healthy foods in the lunch room or at social events, and most of all, trying to be happy with your growing body. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has a website just for girls that teach them about how to eat healthy, how to stay fit, and how to stay healthy inside and out in mind and body.
