New weight loss drugs may cause dangerous side effects

When you are eager to lose weight and your healthy lifestyle is not bringing you results fast enough, you may try weight loss drugs to help you along.  Two fairly new weight loss medicines, with brand names Belviq and Qysmia, are being brought to question in a recent report that states they may have dangerous side effects that could affect long-term health.  Although these weight loss medicines do what they say and help people lose weight, they may also cause memory and attention problems, increased acid in the body, as well as increased risk of heart health problems. Researchers suggest that those who choose to use weight loss medicines, and their healthcare providers, should stop taking such drugs if 5-percent of body weight is not lost in 12 weeks time since further use may increase health risks.
