A new study found a trick to getting kids to like their greens just as much as other foods. Children between 3 and 5 were given picture books about eating crackers and carrots, and then were given these as snacks. The children who knew how healthy their food was ate less than those who didn’t. This shows that talking about the health benefits of vegetables actually made kids not want to eat them! Researchers say that the children saw healthy food as hard work or punishment, so they didn’t enjoy it.

Rosemary and oregano are common herbs that might help lower blood glucose levels. However, these herbs were only good at controlling blood glucose when they were grown in certain ways.
