Costco has a seemingly endless array of foods, drinks, clothing, jewelry, home wares and health supplies. When it comes to diabetes care, Costco pharmacy provides low prices and bulk sizes of medical care products that can be bought in the warehouse or shipped to your home.
Diabetes care supplies and medicines
Diabetes medicines are sold at the Costco pharmacy in Costco warehouses. If you do not have health insurance, Costco offers discounts on medicines to members of their Costco warehouse through the Costco Member Prescription Program, or CMPP. At your local Costco pharmacy or at Costco.com, you can order essential diabetes care supplies, such as:
- glucose meters
- glucose meter testing strips
- A1C testing kits
- blood pressure monitors
- scales
Costco pharmacy also provides other healthcare supplies such as:
- vitamins
- supplements
- meal replacements
- sugar-free drinks and snacks
Pharmacy support and other wellness services
Costco pharmacies offer in-person consults, where you can always ask the on-duty pharmacist any questions you may have about the medicines you are taking. And, on Costco.com, there are lists of resources for health and wellness screenings. You can have your heart, lung and bone health checked, for free, by a healthcare provider at certain Costco pharmacy locations. For even more resources and healthy recipes, Costco members can access Costco Diabetes Magazine online at CDiabetes.com
To take full advantage of these resources, you will have to become a Costco member and renew your membership each year. Pharmacy consults are usually done in-store when you pick up your medicine. If you order your medicine online, there is always an option to speak with a pharmacist in-person or over the phone, toll-free, at mail order.
