Chicken Sticks

A healthy version of the chicken strip for you to enjoy tonight with your family!

Serves: 4
  • 2 pieces chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ cup oil
  1. Rinse chicken with hot water to reduce clinging fat.
  2. Mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger powder and black pepper powder into a bowl, add chicken to mixture, and let set for 20 minutes.
  3. Beat egg separately.
  4. Dip slices of marinated chicken into egg and then coat with bread crumbs.
  5. Place coated chicken in freezer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Place a pan over medium heat and add oil.
  7. Fry all chicken sticks until golden brown. Serve and enjoy alone or with your favorite sauce or chutney.
