Daal Dosa (Red Lentil Pan Cake)
Serves: 4
  • ½ cup Red lentil
  • ½ cup white rice
  • 1 onion slices
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  1. Soak red lentil and rice in fresh water for at least 2 hours and then blend into mixed paste.
  2. Beat all ingredients except oil with the mixed paste and ½ cup water to prepare a batter for the pan cake. Put 1 tsp vegetable oil in the fry pan with medium heat in the burner.
  3. When the oil is hot, put 2 tbs batter each time and spread as much as possible. Follow the same process and make dosas by rest of the dough.
