Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons sunflower oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- ½ teaspoon garlic paste
- ½ teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 tomato, chopped finely
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ cup water
- 2 pounds fresh okra, trimmed
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Add onion and sauté till golden brown.
- Add all ingredients except okra. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes or till oil separates.
- Now, stir in okra. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 30 to 40 minutes or till okra is done completely.
