Meat Ball with Mint and Potato
Serves: 4
  • 150g meat, minced
  • 75g bread crumb
  • 1 tbsp onion, sliced
  • ½ tsp garlic, paste
  • 1 egg, whisk
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp mint, sliced
  • 100g tomato puree
  • 28g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 28g wallnut
  1. Mix mincemeat, bread crumb, ½ tbsp sliced onion, garlic, oyster sauce, tomato sauce, and black pepper to a medium soft paste Make 12-16 balls from the paste.
  2. Put all meat the balls on a microwave proof flat dish and cook the balls in the microwave for 3-4 minutes at 80% power. Flip the balls after 2 minutes and keep aside.
  3. Put butter in a pan on medium heat. Add nuts and rest of the sliced onion, and fry for 1 minute. Then add tomato puree and, mint and stir the mixture.
  4. Add meatballs and cook for another 3 minutes. Spread cheese over the meatballs and cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve the meatballs while still warm.
