Ingredients
  • 4 teaspoons sunflower oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 tomato, chopped finely
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 pounds fresh okra, trimmed
Instructions
  1. In a skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Add onion and sauté till golden brown.
  2. Add all ingredients except okra. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes or till oil separates.
  3. Now, stir in okra. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 30 to 40 minutes or till okra is done completely.
